Old Thai Style Papaya Salad (Som Tum Bo Ran) - You can eat this menu together with rice cooked in coconut milk. Old Thai style spicy papaya salad is unlike today where we won't put long beans and tomatoes in it. It's sweet, sour, salty and a little bit spicy.

Old Thai Style Papaya Salad (Som Tum Bo Ran) - You can eat this menu together with rice cooked in coconut milk. Old Thai style spicy papaya salad is unlike today where we won't put long beans and tomatoes in it. It's sweet, sour, salty and a little bit spicy.

For 2 - 4 person
1. 2 cups Chopped Papaya (soaked in 1/2 cup water + 1/2 cup limewater) 
2. Dried shrimp (clean, dry or roast until  dried – blend finely)  1/2 cup
3. 3 Dried chilies (remove seed out and soak in water until soft)
4. 8 Garlics (peeled) 
5. 10 seeds Pepper
6. 5-10 Fresh chilli seeds
7. 3 Tbsp. Roasted peanuts
8. 3 Tbsp. Sugar
9. Tamarind juice. (Clean- put in water - squeeze) 2 Tbsp.
10. Fish sauce 2-3 Tbsp.
11. 3 Tbsp. Lemon juice
12. Bai Thong Lhang, Cha-Plu leaves, Lettuce leave, Tapioca leave (1 bunch for each).
1. Peel papaya, clean and chop finely.  Slice into long strip. Soak in water 1/2 cup, mix lime water 1/2 cup (Freeze or soak in the ice for crispy)
2. Pound dried chilies, garlic, pepper until finely. Add chili and pound them.
3. Add palm sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, tamarind juice, stir to combine. Put pounded chilli and mix together with papaya, add dried shrimp, peanuts and taste sweet and sour.
4. Put on plate (you can sprinkle with lemon skin, dried shrimp, peanut)  And serve together with vegetables.
