Rice Vermicelli With Fish Jungle Curry Sauce (‘Kanom Jeen Nam Ya Pa’) - There are many different kinds of fermented rice flour noodles (Kanom Jeen). It’s depending on the ages. Mostly use the coconut milk. But this menu doesn’t use the coconut milk and has more spicy taste. Many people add pickled fish sauce and vegetables such as dill in it as well.




Rice Vermicelli With Fish Jungle Curry Sauce (‘Kanom Jeen Nam Ya Pa’) - There are many different kinds of fermented rice flour noodles (Kanom Jeen). It’s depending on the ages. Mostly use the coconut milk. But this menu doesn’t use the coconut milk and has more spicy taste. Many people add pickled fish sauce and vegetables such as dill in it as well.
For 2-3 person

1. 3-4 pieces of Fermented Rice Flour Noodles (for 2-3 person)
2. 1 cup of Fish
3. 3-5 Large dried chilies
4. 3-7 Dried chilies
5. 3-5 Lesser ginger
6. 5 Shallots
7. 5 cloves Garlic
8. 1 Lemongrass
9. 1 Galangal
10 2-3 Kaffir lime leaves
1. Set the pot over high heat. Add fish, lemon grass, galangal, shallots, garlic, lesser ginger ,dried chilies. Boil for another 5-10 minutes. (Cut into smaller pieces before continue boil and pound) 
2.  Bring all ingredients you put to boil up and set aside to dry. Then pound finely.
3. Put pounded ingredients back to boil in the same water for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with kaffir lime leaves or add dill more. Then pour on the noodles. Eat together with boiled eggs, fresh vegetables.

Tips

Try with pickled fish sauce or dills if you like

Ingredient of Rice Vermicelli With Fish Jungle Curry Sauce (‘Kanom Jeen Nam Ya Pa’)
